Date: Sunday April 7, 2024

Time: Check In Deadline 10:45 AM, Games Start at 11:00 AM

Rounds: There will be three rounds, starting 11:00 AM, Noon, and 1:30 PM, followed by Semi-Finals and Finals for the top 4 teams

Format: Sign up as your own doublette team, or as an individual and we will form teams*

Cost: $5/player (cash only, exact change appreciated please)

Eligible: Lamorinda club members and associate members only

Details

Games will be played in the regulation courts.
If you don’t have a teammate, we will have an “Individual's List” and form a team for you.
There will be three timed games using the Swiss format and following standard FPUSA rules.
The top 4 teams will play off for prizes for first and second places.
Play is not to begin until the whistle is sounded to begin that round. After 45 minutes the whistle will blow, and you should finish the end then play one final end. The score is then recorded even if one team has not reached 13 points. The whistle will blow at 55 minutes at which point the game must end, even if it is a draw.
Semifinals and finals will not be timed.

* To ensure an even number of teams and that everyone plays, some teams may need to be triplettes, and the last teams to sign up may need to be split.
